MPTET Examination

He or she should have at least 50% marks and a B.ED degree from National Council for Teacher Education if they want to teach students between 1 and 5. Apart from that, the appointed candidates have to complete a six-month course in primary education from National Council of Teacher Education within two years of the appointment.

When it comes to the age limit, the candidates must be 21 or more than that. For the general category, male candidates should be 40, and for females, 45. When it comes to the other categories, it is 45 years.

For the secondary teachers (6th to 8th)

Every candidate should have a B.Ed degree as well as 50% marks in the graduation from any renowned university. Talking about the age limit, every candidate should be between 18 to 35 years if he or she wants to apply for the examination.

CTET Eligibility

The eligibility should be verified by the appointing authority or the recruiting agency. Moreover, the aspirants should meet the eligibilities before applying for the examination. Some of the common educational qualifications that you must fulfill before applying for the CTET examination includes.

  • Should pass a senior secondary examination and have at least 50% marks and passed. He or she should have two years of diploma in elementary education.
  • Should pass the senior secondary examination with 45% marks and passed the final two years of Diploma in Elementary education.
  • He or she must clear 50% of the marks as well as B.Ed from any recognized university. Candidates from the NCTE education will be considered.
